Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the bundt pan with non-stick spray.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Alternately mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, starting and ending with the dry. Gently fold in the buttermilk.
  • Fold in the chopped apples.
  • Pour the batter into the greased bundt pan and smooth out the top.

Baking

  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a serving plate.

Serving

  • Drizzle caramel sauce over the top before serving.
