Bacon Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sliders

Ingredients
  

For the Sliders

  • 8 large large eggs Fresh eggs make the fluffiest scrambled eggs.
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with milk if desired.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season according to preference.
  • 1 tablespoon butter For scrambling eggs.
  • 1 lb halal turkey bacon or beef bacon Ensure it gets crispy for best flavor.
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided Sharp cheddar is recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter For brushing over the rolls.
  • 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix Adds a unique flavor twist.
  • 1 package (12 oz) Hawaiian rolls Soft and slightly sweet.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Cooking

  • Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and stir gently until fluffy and almost set. Remove from heat.
  • In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and slice into pieces.

Assembly

  • Cut the package of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup of cheese over the rolls, layer the scrambled eggs, then add the crispy bacon, and top with remaining cheese.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls back on.
  • Combine melted butter and ranch dressing mix, and brush it over the tops of the rolls.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the rolls are warmed through.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These sliders can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the microwave.
