  • 1 cup water Necessary for the dough.
  • 1/4 cup butter Adds richness and flavor.
  • 2 large eggs Provides structure and richness.

Coating Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Biscoff spread The star of the show for dipping.
  • 1/2 cup sugar For coating after frying.
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon For the cinnamon sugar coating.

For Frying

  • Oil for frying Use vegetable oil or canola.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring it to a boil over medium heat.
  • Stir in flour and baking powder until the mixture forms a ball.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.

Frying

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 375°F (190°C).
  • Use a piping bag to pipe small bites of dough into the hot oil.
  • Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  • Remove churro bites from oil and drain on paper towels. Toss in the cinnamon sugar while still warm.
  • Serve warm with melted Biscoff spread for dipping.

Notes

For best results, ensure the oil is at the proper temperature and fry in small batches to prevent sogginess.
