  • 1 wheel wheel of brie cheese Use a high-quality brie for best results.
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce Homemade or store-bought.
  • 1 sheet puff pastry Thaw before using to ensure flakiness.
  • 1 egg egg (for egg wash) Gives the pastry a golden finish.
  • to taste fresh rosemary (optional) For garnish and extra flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a square large enough to wrap around the brie.
  • Place the wheel of brie at the center of the puff pastry square and spread cranberry sauce generously on top.
  • Fold the pastry over the brie, sealing the edges securely.
  • Beat the egg in a bowl and brush it over the wrapped brie.
  • Place the wrapped brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving. Optionally, garnish with fresh rosemary.

Notes

Serve with crunchy crackers or toasted baguette slices. Pairs well with bold red wine or refreshing lemonade.
