Preparation

  • Season the boneless steaks on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes.

Cooking Steaks

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling.
  • Add the seasoned steaks to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness.
  • Once cooked, transfer the steaks to a cutting board and let them rest for 5-10 minutes.

Cooking Onions

  • In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and sauté for 8-10 minutes until they are soft and golden brown.

Serving

  • Slice the rested steak against the grain and serve it on a bed of cooked rice, topped with the sautéed onions.
