Ingredients
  

For the Steak and Pasta

  • 1 lb Cubed Steak (ribeye or sirloin) Tender and juicy, high in protein.
  • 2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning Store-bought or homemade, don't be shy with it!
  • 8 oz Pasta Shells Shell pasta catches the creamy sauce.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Fresh garlic is essential for depth of flavor.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can substitute with half-and-half.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, or Italian Blend) For melting into the sauce.
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For cooking the steak.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Essential seasonings for the dish.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley (chopped) For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the cubed steak generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the steak bites. Sear until browned, about 4-6 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Cook pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Making the Sauce

  • Pour in the cream and sprinkle in the cheese while stirring until melted and combined, creating a creamy sauce.
  • Add the cooked pasta shells to the skillet and mix well to coat with the sauce.
  • Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Make sure the steak is at room temperature for perfect searing. Adjust garlic cooking time to avoid burning. Good cheese is crucial for creaminess.
