Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until smooth.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring until well combined.
  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes. Use a toothpick to check doneness; it should come out with a few moist crumbs.

Frosting

  • While the brownies cool, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Once the brownies have cooled completely, spread the cream cheese frosting on top.

Serving

  • Cut into squares and serve.

Notes
