For the Dipping Sauce (Optional)

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce Indulgent treat.
  • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt Lighter dipping option.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Peel and slice the apples into 1/2-inch wedges, removing core and seeds.
  • In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar and set aside.
  • Prepare three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with half the cinnamon-sugar.

Coating

  • Dredge each apple slice in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Arrange apple slices in a single layer in air fryer and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  • Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.

Serving

  • Sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar on top and serve hot with dipping sauces.

Notes

Don't overcrowd the air fryer. Adjust spices to your taste. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
