  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder No need to chop onions.
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Provides a hint of heat.
  • 1 tsp Salt Essential for flavor.
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder Optional for additional spiciness.
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice Adds brightness.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and chili powder.
  • Rub the mixture all over the chicken legs thoroughly.
  • Place a wire rack over a baking tray and arrange the chicken legs in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Bake the chicken legs in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Check the chicken around the 25-minute mark.
  • Once golden brown and crispy, remove from oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  • Optionally, brush with melted butter or honey before serving.

Notes

Pat chicken dry for crispiness. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness (165°F). Experiment with spices for varied flavors.
