  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning Enhances the overall flavor profile.
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter Adds richness to the sauce.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
  • Sprinkle minced garlic, salt, pepper, brown sugar, and Italian seasoning over the chicken.
  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce and cream of chicken soup until smooth; pour over the seasoned chicken.
  • Add two tablespoons of butter on top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once cooked through and tender, shred the chicken with two forks before serving.

Notes

For best results, consider adding a splash of lemon juice or Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor. You can also add vegetables halfway through the cooking time for added nutrition.
