  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted Adds richness.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder For subtle flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley For herbal freshness.

Au Jus Ingredients

  • 2 cups beef broth Essential for dipping.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Adds depth to flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce Enhances umami.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder For flavor enhancement.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Included in the au jus for double flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste For seasoning.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Lay the tortillas flat and layer sliced roast beef and shredded cheese down the center.
  • Roll the tortillas tightly, tucking in the edges, and place them seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Melt the butter and brush it over the roll-ups. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley.

Cooking

  • Bake the roll-ups for 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • While baking, make the au jus by combining beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoning in a saucepan. Simmer on low for 5–7 minutes.
  • Remove roll-ups from the oven, slice into bite-sized pieces, and serve warm with au jus for dipping.

Notes

Experiment with additional fillings like sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers. These roll-ups can be prepped ahead of time and refrigerated before baking for easy weeknight meals.
