  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Prevents butter from burning.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Be careful not to overcook.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Adds warmth without being fussy.
  • to taste dash salt and black pepper Essential seasoning.
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing Creamy tang that fuses everything.
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped Provides crisp texture.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a salty umami finish.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Cook the chicken for about 6–8 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  • Transfer chicken to a cutting board and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and cook minced garlic for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  • Return sliced chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter.
  • Lightly toast the buns; spread Caesar dressing on both cut sides.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by layering the bottom buns with chicken, romaine, and Parmesan; top with the other bun half and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Always pat chicken dry to get a better crust. Toast the buns enough to prevent sogginess.
