  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped Reminds of springtime flavor.
  • 1 juice of lemon Adds brightness to the dish.

Preparation

  • Peel and cut the carrots into sticks, aiming for uniform sizes.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Toss in the carrot sticks, coating them in the garlic butter.
  • Sauté the carrots for about 5-7 minutes until tender but vibrant.
  • Stir in the fresh parsley and thyme, then squeeze in the lemon juice.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

Do not crowd the pan for best caramelization. Fresh ingredients yield vibrant flavors. Try adding chili flakes or honey for variations.
