  • 1/4 cup milk Keeps the meatloaf juicy; can use almond milk for dairy-free.
  • 1 egg Binds the mixture together.
  • 1 tsp salt Essential for flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Brings warmth and flavor.
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley Optional for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped onion, milk, egg, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and parsley if using.
  • Mix until just combined using your hands; avoid overmixing.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased baking dish.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, checking for doneness with a meat thermometer (aim for 165°F/74°C).

Serving

  • Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes
