Preparation Steps

  • Activate the yeast by combining warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl until frothy.
  • In a large bowl, mix flour and salt, then add the yeast mixture and olive oil, stirring until sticky dough forms.
  • Knead on a floured surface until smooth.
  • Fold in chopped garlic and rosemary.
  • Place in an oiled bowl and cover, allowing to rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough, divide it into a muffin tin, and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

For best results, do not rush the rising process. Experiment with flavors by adding different herbs or cheeses.
