Ingredients
  

For the Ribs

  • 2 lbs pork ribs Pork ribs preferred for their tenderness.

For the Glaze

  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce Use your favorite tangy and sweet BBQ sauce.
  • 3 tbsp honey Adds wonderful sweetness.
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce For that umami kick.
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar Balances out the sweetness.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika For subtle smokiness.
  • to taste Salt & black pepper Season generously.

For Garnish

  • to taste Fresh rosemary Optional but adds an aromatic touch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F).
  • Pat the pork ribs dry with paper towels and season generously with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

Making the Glaze

  • In a bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic.

Coating the Ribs

  • Generously brush the prepared glaze over both sides of the ribs.

Baking

  • Wrap the glazed ribs tightly in foil and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours until the meat is tender.

Broiling

  • Remove the foil and slather on more glaze, then broil the ribs for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Serving

  • Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh rosemary. Serve with napkins!

Notes

For best results, consider marinating the ribs overnight in the glaze for deeper flavor. If using a grill, searing the ribs lastly creates a smokier taste.
