Sauce

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter Brings richness to the sauce.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is essential for flavor.
  • ¼ cup honey Adds sweetness and caramelization.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Provides savory umami.
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Adds acidity to balance richness.
  • Chopped parsley For garnish, optional.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, toss chicken tenders with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place seasoned tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • While chicken is cooking, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 30 seconds.
  • Stir in honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice, then let it simmer for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, toss them in the honey garlic butter sauce until fully coated.

Serving

  • Plate and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with sides like rice, veggies, or salad.

Notes

For the best results, ensure even chicken thickness and don’t overcrowd the air fryer. Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer for best texture.
