For Garnish

Preparation

  • Chop the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large bowl, mix the cornstarch and all-purpose flour together.

Battering the Chicken

  • Dip each chicken piece into the beaten eggs and then coat them in the flour mixture.

Frying the Chicken

  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Test the oil with a piece of chicken; it should sizzle.
  • Fry the coated chicken in batches for about 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In a separate pan, combine honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Heat until bubbling and thickened.

Combining and Serving

  • Add the crispy chicken to the sauce and toss gently to coat.
  • Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For best results, reheat in a hot pan to restore crispiness.
