Cheese and Seasonings

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese Sharp cheese is recommended for depth of flavor.
  • 4 ounces cream cheese Adds creaminess.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Adds subtle sweetness.

Preparation

  • Boil a big pot of salted water, and cook the short pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  • In a frying pan over medium heat, cook your bacon until crispy. Set aside a few pieces for garnish.
  • In the same pan, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart. Drain the excess fat.

Combining Ingredients

  • Reduce heat to low and add cream cheese to the beef, stirring until melted.
  • Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until fully melted.
  • Once the pasta is ready, drain it and combine with the beef and cheese mixture, stirring well.

Final Seasoning

  • Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper, mixing well.
  • Serve in bowls, garnished with crispy bacon pieces and fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For best results, don't overcook the pasta and consider vegetable add-ins like spinach or bell peppers. You can also experiment with different cheeses.
