  • 4 oz Brie cheese, sliced Opt for high-quality Brie for the best creaminess.
  • 1 piece ripe pear, thinly sliced Choose a medium-sized pear for ideal balance on the flatbread.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Extra virgin recommended for maximum flavor.
  • 2 tbsp honey Local honey adds unique flavors.
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped Use mixed herbs if desired.
  • Salt & black pepper to taste Always season for the best flavor.
  • Optional: arugula for garnish Adds a nice touch of color and freshness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush the flatbread lightly with olive oil.
  • Arrange the slices of Brie evenly over the oiled flatbread.
  • Layer the thinly sliced pears on top of the Brie.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the flatbread is golden.
  • Drizzle honey over the baked flatbread and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
  • Slice into triangles and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes. To enhance flavor, let the flatbread cool slightly before applying the honey. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
