  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use real grated Parmesan for best flavor
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs work well for crunch
  • 2 pieces eggs Help the crust adhere to chicken
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For searing the chicken
  • 1 cup heavy cream For the creamy garlic sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances the flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste Essential seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (optional) For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs until light and frothy.
  • In another bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  • Season both chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, letting the excess drip off, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.

Cooking

  • Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the chicken in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and allow it to simmer, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.

Serving

  • Transfer the cooked chicken to a serving plate and drizzle with the garlic cream sauce.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) to maintain the crispy coating.
