Ingredients
  

For the pudding

  • 1 package chocolate pudding mix The cornerstone of this dessert for a rich flavor.
  • 2 cups milk To mix with the pudding for creaminess.
  • 1 cup whipped topping To fold into the pudding for a light texture.

For the layers and toppings

  • 1 package Oreo cookies, crushed To create the 'dirt' layer.
  • 1 cup pumpkin candies For decoration.
  • 1 cup gummy worms For whimsical decoration.
  • 4-6 cups plastic cups or small containers For serving the dessert.

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, pour the package of chocolate pudding mix, then slowly whisk in the 2 cups of milk until smooth. Let it thicken for about 5 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, gently fold in the whipped topping to the thickened pudding until fully combined.
  • Crush the Oreo cookies using a rolling pin or food processor to achieve a crumbly texture.

Assembly

  • Layer the crushed Oreos at the bottom of each plastic cup to create the base.
  • Spoon in the chocolate pudding mixture until the cups are halfway full.
  • Add another layer of crushed Oreos on top of the pudding.
  • Decorate the top with pumpkin candies and gummy worms.
  • Chill the cups in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

These cups can be made a day in advance and last up to 3 days in the fridge. They are best served cold and can be frozen for a couple of weeks.
