Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 oz Spaghetti Use your favorite type of spaghetti.

Meatballs

  • 1 lb Ground Beef Opt for lean beef for a healthier choice.
  • 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs Helps bind the meatballs.
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated, for added flavor.
  • 1 Egg A binding agent for the meatballs.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced, for flavor.
  • 1 small Onion Chopped, enhances the taste.
  • 1 tsp Oregano For a touch of Italian flavor.
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste.
  • 1 tsp Pepper To taste.

Sauce

  • 1 jar Marinara Sauce Homemade or store-bought, use a good quality sauce.

Garnishes

  • 1 handful Basil Fresh, for serving.

Instructions
 

Cook the Spaghetti

  • Boil a large pot of salted water. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions. Drain and toss with olive oil.

Prepare the Meatball Mixture

  • Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, oregano, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well.

Shape the Meatballs

  • Roll the mixture into balls, about the size of a golf ball.

Brown the Meatballs

  • In a skillet, heat marinara sauce over medium heat. Gently place meatballs in sauce, cover, and simmer until cooked through.

Serve it All Up

  • Nestle meatballs over spaghetti, garnish with fresh basil, and enjoy!

Notes

Chill the meatball mixture before shaping for better consistency. Serve with garlic bread and a salad for a complete meal.
