Broth and Flavorings

  • 4 cups Broth (chicken or beef) Choose according to preference.
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste) Adjust amount to your taste.
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) Essential for flavor.
  • 1 tbsp Ginger (grated) Adds a nice balance.
  • 1 cup Cream or coconut milk Use coconut for a vegan version.
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil For drizzling at the end.

Garnishes and Vegetables

  • 2 stalks Green onions (for garnish) Adds flavor and color.
  • 2 cups Vegetables (such as spinach, carrots, or mushrooms) Use any seasonal veggies you like.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Noodles

  • Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions and set aside.

Making the Broth

  • In a pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add broth to the pot and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in soy sauce and gochujang, adjusting the spice level to taste.

Grilling the Beef

  • In a separate pan, grill the beef until cooked to your liking, then slice thinly.

Assembling the Dish

  • In a bowl, combine the cooked ramen noodles and pour the spicy broth over.
  • Add the grilled beef slices on top.
  • Drizzle with cream or coconut milk.
  • Garnish with green onions and vegetables.
