Ingredients
  

Pizza Base

  • 1 pound Pizza Dough Store-bought or homemade

Sauce and Cheese

  • ¾ cup Pizza Sauce Use your favorite sauce, avoid too much to keep it from being soggy.
  • 2 ½ cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Low-moisture, whole milk mozzarella preferred.
  • ¼ cup Full-Fat Sour Cream For piping the spider web design.

Toppings

  • 1 can (6 ounces) Jumbo Black Olives Pitted; use whole olives for bodies and sliced for legs.

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For brushing the crust.
  • 1 tablespoon Cornmeal For dusting the pizza pan.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Let the pizza dough sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Lightly flour the surface and stretch the dough into a 12-inch diameter shape.
  • Transfer the shaped dough to a pizza stone or lined baking sheet.
  • Brush the crust with olive oil (optional).

Layering the Pizza

  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Use sour cream in a squeeze bottle to create a spider web design on top of the cheese.

Baking

  • Place whole olives on the pizza as spider bodies and arrange sliced olives for legs.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let the pizza cool for a minute before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure the dough reaches room temperature and add extra cheese if desired. Alternative toppings can be used.
