Ingredients
  

Milk Tea Base

  • 2 cups Milk Whole milk works best, but alternatives like almond or oat milk are great too!
  • 1 cup Water Just enough to brew the black tea.
  • 2 bags Black tea bags Opt for a robust brand like English Breakfast or Assam.

Flavoring

  • 2 tablespoons Vanilla extract Trust me, it’s the star of the show!
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon Adds warmth; don’t overdo it!
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Adjust according to taste, honey or maple syrup works too.
  • 1 pinch Salt Balances sweetness beautifully.

Preparation

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the water and milk. Heat over medium heat until just below boiling.
  • Once steam rises and edges bubble, add the black tea bags and let steep for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and stir in vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  • Heat the mixture gently until warm but not boiling. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
  • Pour into mugs, and enjoy!

Notes

For the best flavor, use quality tea and fresh spices. Enjoy with buttery toast or chocolate chip cookies. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
